Should I use a 12V 2×6 GPU power cable or two separate PCIE cables for my RTX 5070 Ti?

I'm a bit concerned about the 12V 2x6 power cable since some previous models had issues with daisy chained cables drawing more power than they could handle. I have the option to either use the adapter that comes with the GPU to connect two separate PCIE cables or just stick with the single 12V 2x6 cable. Which setup would be better for my RTX 5070 Ti?

The cable itself is likely okay, but sometimes the connections can be problematic. Regardless of the adapter, you’ll still need to use the connector on the card itself.

What do you mean by 'dodgy connection'? Also, with the adapter, can I use two separate PCI-E cables? One with dual heads and another single?

If you have a 12V2x6 cable available from your power supply, definitely go for it. It should work just fine with your GPU.
