Hey everyone! I'm really interested in learning to code, particularly in front-end development. However, I've found that most courses out there are just plain boring. I'm determined not to give up because I have a knack for tech stuff and I think learning development could provide me with a backup plan in life. The benefits and pay in the dev world sound amazing, plus I love the idea of remote work where I could live anywhere as long as I have a laptop and internet. Any suggestions for engaging courses or resources? Thanks!

Consider trying Exercism, it's a cool platform that offers fun exercises to learn programming in an interactive way.
If you're finding the courses boring, maybe programming just isn't the right fit for you. No amount of fun coursework will change that.
You might want to take a step back and remember that while being a developer has its perks, it takes a solid resume to get those benefits. The field has changed a lot and employers are looking for real skills. If you genuinely enjoy building web apps, there are tons of resources out there. Check out Brad Traversy; he offers a wealth of tutorials that cover just about everything in web development.
Honestly, programming can be pretty monotonous. The courses you’re looking at probably reflect what actual programmers do on the job, which can be pretty dull if that's not your thing. If you find the content boring, it might be a tough road ahead.
Maybe think about what kind of projects would be fun for you? Finding something that excites you can make the learning process way more enjoyable!
