If you're running production, think about how you’ll manage outages and whether you need a multi-node setup. A lot of companies ran single server setups before Kubernetes became common, so it really comes down to your specific needs.
One major drawback is scalability. Minikube is limited to just one node, so if that server goes down, everything else goes down with it. If your business can handle that level of risk, it might still work for you, but it’s definitely something to consider.
