Why Does My PC Shut Down While Gaming?

Hey everyone! I've been having a pretty frustrating issue with my PC lately. When I'm playing heavy games like Marvel Rivals and DBD, my GPU fan goes crazy, and then my screen goes black. Oddly enough, the rest of the system seems to keep running fine. The only way I can get it to restart is by going into the BIOS first. I've tried troubleshooting online and updating Windows, but the problem keeps coming back. I've noticed a message saying that my AMD Software is incompatible with my graphics drivers, which is really confusing because I thought I was downloading the right version. I've even reset my BIOS and tried a full system reboot, but nothing seems to fix it. I suspect it's something to do with my GPU but I can't pinpoint what's wrong or how to fix it. My setup includes an AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT for the graphics and an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G for the CPU. Any tips would be appreciated!

It sounds like you might be dealing with a GPU issue. When your screen goes dark but the rest of the system seems to run, it often points to either a driver crash or a hardware problem with the GPU itself. I'd recommend doing a clean install of your GPU drivers. If that doesn't solve the problem, try using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely remove them before installing the latest drivers straight from AMD's support site.

I was thinking of trying DDU too, but I'm a bit worried about messing things up. But honestly, it sounds like I might not have a choice—I'll give it a shot!
