Upgrading from RTX 5070 to 5080: Why Am I Not Seeing a Performance Boost?

I recently upgraded from an RTX 5070 Founders Edition to an RTX 5080 Founders Edition, expecting a noticeable performance increase in Arc Raiders. However, the frame rates seem almost the same. I'm using a 9800x3d with this setup, and I'm unsure if there's an issue with my hardware. I'm playing at 1080p on low settings with DLSS quality, and while I've seen benchmarks showing this card should hit around 240 FPS, I'm only getting between 170 and 190 FPS in-game. Any insights would be appreciated!

Did you use DDU for the driver clean-up? It's crucial after upgrading graphics cards. If you haven't tried nvcleaninstall, you might want to give it a go too! Reinstalling your drivers could help resolve some issues.

What resolution and graphics settings are you using? Those details can really affect performance. It's important to know what you have going on for troubleshooting.

It's strange you're not seeing any boost. You mentioned you have everything set to low with DLSS at 1080p. To help further, make sure you provide those exact settings when asking for advice. Also, have you run Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to clean old drivers? That can make a difference.
