I'm currently using two drives that have a lot of files on them. I came across a video that mentioned installing Windows would erase the drive where I download it. Given this, should I consider buying another drive just for Windows 11?

You don't have to wipe your drive to install Windows, but grabbing a new one for Windows 11 isn't a bad idea either.
I'd definitely recommend getting a new SSD, maybe around 2TB. It could save you a lot of hassle in the long run.
If your drives are getting old, it's a good idea to upgrade. I suggest going for at least a Gen 4 NVMe. Also, take some time to tidy up your existing drives; it's not too hard!
Gen 3 NVMes work great too, especially if you're trying to save some cash!

I just remembered I’ll be transferring an SSD with Windows already on it to my new PC. Will that cause any problems?
