What do you call a Bluetooth receiver that you can plug in and use with headphones?

I'm trying to find a device that acts as a Bluetooth receiver, one that can be plugged directly into power instead of relying on a battery. I want to use it with my headphones while watching shows on my Google box late at night. I already have a portable Bluetooth receiver, but I prefer something that stays in one place and doesn't run out of power. I could use a long 3.5mm adapter, but I'm looking for a better solution. Does anyone know what this device is called or have recommendations?

You're looking for a Bluetooth receiver that plugs in! I think what you need is a Bluetooth receiver that's powered through USB. I found a good option that works well with low latency. Just make sure it’s designed for continuous use.

Sounds like you want something imaginary, like a radio receiver that runs on magic! But seriously, you just need something that doesn't need batteries, which totally makes sense. There's definitely a device out there that meets your criteria.

Maybe check if your TV can connect directly to Bluetooth headphones? If it does, that might save you the hassle of getting an additional device!
