Why won’t my mobile hotspot connect to my laptop?

I'm in a bit of a bind since I've got a bunch of deadlines to meet. My mobile hotspot was working perfectly last night, but today it just won't connect to my laptop. I've tried everything I can think of, but nothing seems to help. My laptop connects fine to 5GHz networks but struggles with 2.4GHz. I've switched back and forth between both, but no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Have you checked if you've run out of hotspot data? If you're still good on data, I'd recommend sticking with the 5GHz connection since it usually performs better than 2.4GHz.

It sounds like you're dealing with a mobile hotspot. Are you using an iPhone or an Android device for it? That could help narrow down any potential issues.
