Hey everyone! I'm a casual gamer who mainly plays low-demand games like Warthunder. After putting in some overtime at work, I'm considering upgrading my graphics card to improve my frame rates. I'm not super tech-savvy, so I'd appreciate any advice on my current setup and the upgrade I'm considering. Here's what I have:
- Motherboard: EX-A320M-GAMING
- CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x
- PSU: 500W
- Current GPU: Zotac 1050ti
My motherboard does have a PCIe slot. I'm looking at the MSI GeForce RTX 3050 8GB as a potential upgrade. Here's the link: [MSI GeForce RTX 3050 8GB](https://www.currys.co.uk/products/msi-geforce-rtx-3050-8-gb-ventus-2x-xs-oc-graphics-card-10274205.html). Would this be a worthwhile upgrade for me? If I'm only going to see a minor improvement, I'd rather not spend the money. Thanks a lot!

If you have a monitor with 60Hz or even 144Hz at 1080p, the AMD Radeon RX 6600 or RX 6600 XT would provide a massive performance boost over the 1050 Ti. The RTX 3050 is also a decent upgrade, but the RX 6600 gives you more value for your money.
Consider this option instead: the MSI Radeon RX 6600 Mech 2X 8GB, which is much stronger than the RTX 3050. Here's the link: [RX 6600](https://www.overclockers.co.uk/msi-radeon-rx-6600-mech-2x-8gb-gddr6-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-37z-ms.html).
Really? The performance metrics online show the 3070 is better, though.
Upgrading to the RTX 3050 will definitely be a big step up for you! You'll see a noticeable improvement in performance with almost any game.
Thanks! What are you looking at to determine it's more powerful? Is it just the GB?

I have one 185Hz monitor and another 60Hz, so would the RX 6600 be worth it for both?
