I'm planning to upgrade my PC parts soon and opted for a high-quality power supply initially. Now, I'm curious if the Corsair RM850x will provide sufficient power for my new Ryzen 7 9800X3D and 5070 Ti setup, along with some extra headroom to ensure stability.

850W is actually the sweet spot for those parts. You're going to be just fine!

I have that same combo and it works just fine!

You might want to check PC Part Picker and consider adding an extra 100W to be on the safe side. If you're thinking about future upgrades, aiming for a bit more is always a smart move.

I usually look at the GPU's minimum PSU requirement and then add around 100-200W based on the CPU, especially if you're using something like the 9800X3D.

Totally enough power for your build!

I’m running the same setup with a 750W PSU and haven’t encountered any issues.

850W is definitely plenty for your setup! Most of the time, your system should be running under 500W. You've got a good amount of headroom there.
