I downloaded a video from an adult site and I'm worried that I might have gotten a virus. I ran a scan with Malwarebytes and it didn't find anything, but I want to make sure my device is safe. I'm using Android. Can anyone give me advice on this?

As long as the site you downloaded from isn't known for distributing malware, you should be alright. Just be cautious in the future!

Yeah, I've only ever heard of issues with the really shady sites. XNXX is one of the bigger ones, so I wouldn’t worry too much.

Downloading something alone won't get you hacked, but if you opened the video, that's where the risk lies. Just be smart about it next time!

Yeah, I just clicked play but didn’t do much else.

Honestly, just don’t stress it too much. If Malwarebytes didn’t flag anything, you’re probably in the clear!

Lol, true! I guess I just got a little paranoid after hitting download.

You could run another scan with Hitman Pro as an extra measure. And definitely make sure to use a good ad blocker like Ublock to help keep things secure!

Thanks! I was actually looking for something like that but couldn’t find Hitman Pro in the app store.
