I recently received a scam email, and out of curiosity, I copied the email address and pasted it into Google to see what would pop up. I realize this might not have been the smartest move. I used my Apple mail app and switched to the Google Chrome browser. Am I at risk of being hacked from this action?

Honestly, you're probably safe. Just copying and pasting an email address to search it shouldn't put you at risk. If you're worried, just flag the email as spam and move on. No need to panic!

Even though I copied the email address into Google? What if it wasn't safe?
