I just built a PC using an ASUS RTX 5070, and my power supply unit (PSU) is a Superflower Leadex III Gold 850W. The GPU came with its own adapter, but my PSU also provides a dual 8-pin to 12VHPWR cable. Should I stick with the PSU's cable or go for the one that came with the GPU? Currently, I'm using the PSU's cable.

I've heard some people say to stick with the GPU's adapter, just in case something goes wrong. If the cable melts, it won't mess up your PSU as much. So, there's that to think about.
If your PSU has a dedicated cable, it's usually best to use it. Generally, PCIe power adapters convert power from two cables to the GPU, while the PSU's cable goes straight into it without extra connections. Fewer connections can mean a more reliable connection!
Honestly, it doesn't make much of a difference. However, I would recommend using the cable from your PSU since it's designed for that setup.
Both cables should work fine if they're both dual 8-pin to 12VHPWR. Typically, you won’t run into issues either way unless there's a significant difference in quality. Just choose whichever is easier to manage!

Got it, thanks for the info!
