Issue with Setting Both Monitors to Maximum Refresh Rates

I'm having trouble getting both of my monitors to run at their maximum refresh rates simultaneously. Here's what I have:

* Main Monitor: LG 27GX790A-B, 27" 480 Hz QHD
* Second Monitor: Asus XG258Q, 24" 240 Hz

When I try to set the second monitor to 240 Hz, it goes black. The best I can do is set the main monitor to 480 Hz and the second one to 120 Hz. Is this normal? Could my GPU be causing a limit on the refresh rates? For reference, I have a brand new RTX 5080. I'd appreciate any help!

Which type of cable are you using for each monitor? I found that using a second DisplayPort cable resolved similar issues for me.

Oh, I was using an HDMI for one of them. I switched to a second DP cable and now everything works great! Thanks for the suggestion!

Are both of your monitors connected via DisplayPort? If not, that might be the issue. The connection type can affect how refresh rates are handled.
