I'm wondering if putting my PC directly on the floor right in front of my air conditioning vent or gas furnace would damage it when the furnace is running. Could the airflow from these vents harm my gaming PC? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated!

Definitely don't leave it on the floor! Dust can get sucked in, which can cause overheating. Also, during summer, consider removing the side panel if temps start to rise. Keep it elevated and away from those vents!
I’d avoid placing it directly in front of heat or AC vents. It could lead to condensation inside, especially with A/C in play. Best to keep it away for longer lifespan.
It kind of depends. If your PC is a gaming rig and it’s really close to the vents, I’d be cautious. When the furnace is on, you might get mixed air temperatures, but generally, it should be okay. I've had mine over a heater and it's fine so far! Just be wary of overheating during peak usage.

Yeah, I'd just monitor the temps and see how it goes. If it gets too hot, consider moving it.
