Resolving ASRock fTPM Issues Making My PC Unplayable

I recently built a new PC using an ASRock B650M HDV/M.2 board and a 7500F. Initially, everything was working fine, but then I started encountering Realtek errors and persistent TPM issues that make my system practically unusable, especially in games that require TPM to be active. I've tried various troubleshooting steps, including updating the BIOS to the latest version (3.50), reinstalling Realtek drivers, applying all Windows updates, and updating my GPU drivers. I even disabled TPM in the BIOS, and while that stopped the errors and stuttering, I can't play any games because of anti-cheat requirements. I learned from some sources that the fTPM runs inside the CPU's PSP and can stall under certain conditions, causing system freezes and the occurrence of TPM events 17 and 14. I'm wondering if there's any way this can be resolved through BIOS settings, or if it would be worth investing in an external TPM module. Also, I'm concerned about whether my motherboard is faulty and if I should consider returning it.

You might want to visit Realtek's official site to download the latest netadaptercx drivers for your network adapter. Sometimes these specific drivers can help with compatibility issues.

I did that as my first step, but it didn’t help with the problems I’m experiencing.

Also, double-check that your chipset drivers are updated. An outdated chipset driver can cause issues with TPM functionality too.

I’ve installed the latest chipset drivers available, but I’ll verify again just to be sure.

Have you checked to make sure the built-in fTPM is properly seated on your motherboard's TPM header? Sometimes a bad connection can cause issues.

I haven't added an external TPM module yet; I'm currently using the built-in fTPM. Thanks for the suggestion!
