What’s the best way to transfer 50GB of video from PC to iPhone via cable?

I've just switched from Android to a new iPhone after eight years! I've gathered all the photos and videos I want to transfer into a folder on my Windows SSD, but I'm struggling to get nearly 50GB of videos onto my iPhone using a wired connection. Apple's sync method isn't helping since it only syncs photos. Is there an alternative way to do this? Any advice would be appreciated!

It sounds like you're having a bit of trouble! When you say Apple's sync isn't working, can you clarify? Typically you'd want to use iTunes on Windows to manage your media. You also should check if your video formats are compatible with iOS since some formats like AVI or MKV need conversion. Try converting them to MP4 for better compatibility.

Exactly! And I think you're right about possible format issues. Just make sure your videos are in formats like MP4 or MOV, which work seamlessly with iPhones.

Don’t forget about alternative apps! VLC is a great option—it allows you to watch videos of almost any format without issues. You can just drop your videos into the VLC folder and watch them on your iPhone easily.

When you connect your iPhone to your computer, make sure to click 'Trust this Computer' on the prompt that appears on your phone. Once you do that, open File Explorer, and your phone should appear there. Click on it, and you’ll see a DCIM folder for photos; however, you'll want a different method for videos since they won’t go in that folder directly. Just make sure to troubleshoot the syncing issue if it keeps popping up!

Yeah, that method usually helps for pulling pics and videos from the iPhone to the computer, but it’s tricky when transferring videos onto the phone itself.
