Good evening! I'm curious if anyone here has experience using Bitbucket for technical interviews. A tech lead reached out to me after reviewing my resume and sent a link to this platform, asking me to solve one of the coding problems available there. Has anyone tried it before? Is it a reliable tool? Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks!

I'd be a bit wary about running any code locally from platforms like Bitbucket or GitHub. There's a chance someone could use the guise of an interview to trick developers into executing malicious code on their machines. Just make sure to double-check the source!

Bitbucket is pretty much similar to GitHub—it's Atlassian's Git product. It's a reputable platform, but it doesn't have quite the same popularity as GitHub.

Honestly, Bitbucket is probably the only Atlassian product that doesn't totally suck. That being said, you should always be cautious.

Just be careful about which repositories you choose to clone and run on your local machine. Safety first!
