How can I help Siri identify which iPhone I’m referring to?

I own multiple iPhones and when I ask my HomePod to help me find one of them, it gets confused about which device I mean. My primary phone has an active SIM card, but I also have an old iPhone 7, an iPhone XR I use as a camera, and a couple of other older iPhones. Since they're all signed into my iCloud, the HomePod assumes any of them could be "my iPhone". This leads to unnecessary back-and-forth about which device I mean. Is there a way to set one specific iPhone as the default "my iPhone" for the HomePod/Siri/Find My so I don't have to keep clarifying?

If you name your phones uniquely, Siri can pick up on them better. Just ensure each iPhone has its own distinct name in the settings.

I've got a similar setup! When I ask for my iPhone, I usually just specify the model. It's not perfect, but it helps a bit.

A good idea is to rename your phones in the settings! For example, if you call it something fun like "Avenger's iPhone," the HomePod might recognize it better.

That worked for me too! Just naming the phone made it easier for HomePod to find it.

Simply name your iPhone in the settings. Go to iPhone Settings > About > Name. Give it a unique name that's easy for HomePod to recognize!
