I've been using my Apple alarm to wake up, but after fall break, I've noticed that I'm waking up late more often. At first, I thought I set the wrong time, but I've fixed that now. I've also tried adjusting the sound volume for my alarms and turning off the attention awareness feature, yet I'm still missing my alarms! Sometimes, I can't even remember turning them off, which makes me wonder if I've just learned to ignore them or if something's wrong with my phone. Has anyone else experienced this issue? What can I do to fix it?

I had a similar problem for quite a while. I ended up wearing my Apple Watch to bed, and that vibration wakes me up without fail. Without the watch, I often miss alarms that I know should go off. Funny enough, my girlfriend's phone works just fine.
Yeah, this has been happening to me too! I tried setting an alarm just a minute ahead, and it didn't ring at all. Super frustrating, especially since it occurs once every couple of years or so. It might be a software glitch.
Have you checked that your volume is turned all the way up? Also, double-check that the Attention Aware feature is actually turned off. Sometimes it's on by accident and can mess with alarms.
I’ll definitely turn up my volume tonight and see if that helps! I heard that disabling the Attention Aware feature could make a difference.

Maybe you could create a haptic alarm and keep your phone right under your pillow for more direct notifications?
