Why Can’t I Search My Bookmarks by Name in Firefox?

I recently noticed that after updating to Firefox 145, I'm unable to find bookmarks by their names anymore. For example, I have a bookmark for `https://web.whatsapp.com` labeled as Whatsapp, but when I type 'Whatsapp' in the address bar, it only shows normal suggestions like DuckDuckGo results. I checked the search settings and confirmed that bookmarks should be displayed, but that hasn't changed anything. Is there anything I can tweak in about:config to fix this?

Have you tried checking if other types of suggestions from the URL bar are working, like history or tabs? Sometimes toggling those settings can help. Also, if you're interested in exploring some advanced settings, Mozilla has a list of about:config options related to URL bar suggestions that you could look into.

I’ve run into a similar problem. You might want to check if the specific flag `browser.urlbar.suggest.bookmark` is enabled in your about:config settings. If it’s already set to true but still not working, maybe a fresh profile or reinstalling Firefox could help.
