We're a company that handles a variety of complex documents and are on the lookout for enterprise OCR software. Can anyone suggest some effective tools that we might want to try out?

Have you looked into Anydoc from Hyland? I've heard good things about it for complex documents.

Docxtractor could be a great option too; it's worth considering for your needs.

Square9 GlobalSearch is another good choice. We use it to recognize different fields on checks and invoices, and I'm sure it can handle much more with the right setup.

You might want to check out Microsoft’s system with sensitivity labels in Purview; it can handle OCR tasks effectively. Some really useful features there!

Purview has OCR features? That's interesting!

I prioritize OCR software that’s accurate, user-friendly, and versatile with different document types, so that’s something to look out for when choosing.

I'd recommend Azure Document Intelligence. Just keep in mind that it might eventually be replaced by Azure Content Understanding, but it's solid for now!
