Could I Be Hacked If a Site Says My IP is a Twitter Bot?

I mainly use my iPhone and recently I encountered a strange situation. A website informed me that my IP address is associated with a Twitter bot, which I've never heard of before. I'm curious about what this means. Is it possible that I'm being hacked? What should I make of this warning?

Honestly, you wouldn't believe everything you read online. If a random website claims there's a hot single Bigfoot looking for love nearby, would you take that seriously? Same logic applies here.

Unless your IP is static, there's no reason to panic. It's likely just dynamic and could've been used by someone else for a Twitter bot.

If you're using cellular data, remember that you can get assigned a new IP address frequently. Sometimes, these addresses were used by others for different purposes. Websites don't always have a way to tell who's using the IP at any given time.

I'm on Wi-Fi right now.

It's more probable that you've got a dynamic IP address that was previously linked to a Twitter bot. Just curious—what exactly is a Twitter bot?

It's probably just a false alarm or a scare tactic by the site. Are you on Wi-Fi or mobile data right now?
