I'm looking to upgrade my gaming PC, but I'm not quite sure where to start. I play a variety of games from Balatro to Battlefield and Mount and Blade, typically at 1080p but I also have monitors that support 1440p. I don't need a complete parts list, just guidance on which components to replace first. Currently, my setup includes a GTX 1080 TI GPU, Ryzen 5 3600X CPU, B450M motherboard, and 32GB of 3200MHz RAM. My budget is around $400-500 CAD (about $350 USD). I'm considering whether to upgrade the motherboard and CPU first or if I should prioritize getting a new GPU instead. Any advice?

The GTX 1080 TI is still quite capable, but a new GPU will boost your performance, especially if you're eyeing higher resolutions. Maybe consider a used RTX 4070 if you can find it for around $350 USD? You could upgrade the CPU later if you decide you need more cores for specific games.
If your budget allows, I'd suggest looking at the new RX 9060 XT 16 GB for a solid upgrade. If not, consider getting a Ryzen 5 5700X along with a more powerful GPU. That should improve your gaming performance significantly!

That sounds like a good plan. Thanks for the tip!
