I'm currently hosting a server on my main PC, which runs a powerful 3080 GPU and a 5700x3d CPU. I want to make sure my setup can handle being on 24/7 without issues, while also extending the lifespan of my components. My PC is on a carpet but is elevated for airflow. I plan to switch the power mode to low when I'm not gaming since the server mainly uses RAM and CPU power. Any suggestions on how to manage this safely?

You really don’t need to do anything special. Just keep it on, and it’ll be fine. If you're hosting something light like a game server, your setup is more than enough.
A server is basically a PC that's always on. If you're concerned about power usage, you could look for a low-power mini PC for hosting instead. You can find some great deals on used ones from places where businesses upgrade their systems frequently. They're often cheap and do the job well!
Honestly, there's not much to worry about! I've been running multiple PCs 24/7 for years without any issues. Just keep an eye on temperatures, and you should be good to go.
