Will My PC Build Handle Upcoming Games?

Hey everyone! I'm currently putting together a PC build and I could use some advice. I'm not very knowledgeable about computer specs, but I'm trying to make sure it can handle games in the near future. I typically play games, but not many AAA ones. However, I really want to enjoy Divinity and Witcher 4 when they release. I don't need to crank the settings up to 4K or ultra levels, but I'd rather not be stuck playing on the lowest settings. Here's what I've picked out so far:

- **RAM**: Patriot Viper Venom 32 GB KIT DDR5 6000 MHz CL30
- **Graphics**: Intel ARC B580
- **Processor**: i5 14600k
- **Power Supply**: Raijintek CRATOS 850 BLACK
- **Storage**: 2TB Samsung SSD
- **Motherboard**: MSI B760 GAMING PLUS WIFI

Do you think this budget build is solid enough to keep up with new titles?

Not sure why you chose that specific CPU when DDR5 is available. You might want to consider switching over to AM5 with a 7600x, as it could offer better value and performance for the future.

You're good to go with what you've picked! With the i5 14600k and 32GB of RAM, you're set for upcoming games. Just for reference, I'm using a slightly older setup and I can play at 4K on medium settings. You should have no problem getting nice visuals and performance!

Honestly, it's a mixed bag. It could go either way depending on how demanding new games are. Just keep your expectations realistic for the settings.

Yeah, this build should work just fine! You can expect solid performance at 1080p with medium settings, and it might even handle some 1440p if you dial down the settings a bit. Generally, the Intel ARC B580 performs similarly to a 3060, which means around 70fps on decent settings for AAA titles. You’ll be in a good spot!
