How Can I Switch From Ubuntu 22.04 to Linux Mint Cinnamon Without a USB?

I recently upgraded from Ubuntu 20.04 to 22.04 but have been really frustrated with some of Ubuntu and GNOME's changes—even simple things like screenshots! I tried Ubuntu Budgie, and while it helped, I'm still not satisfied. I came across a method for switching from Xubuntu to Mint XFCE and thought it would be cool to try moving to Mint Cinnamon instead. I'd love to stick with what I know from my previous Ubuntu experiences (like 16.04 and 18.04), but I don't have a USB drive handy for a fresh install, and I'd rather not lose everything I have. I'm okay with manually removing unnecessary packages and tweaking config files if that can help me get a fully functional Mint system. Any suggestions?

Honestly, the simplest way is just to reinstall the OS you want—especially since you don't have a USB. If your data is on a separate partition, you can keep it safe during the process. Just remember you'll need to reinstall any extra software you had on Ubuntu.
