I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i, and I'm running into a weird issue. When I turned on my laptop today, the battery was at 50%. I plugged in the charger and used it for about an hour, but the battery percentage stayed at 50%. I decided to reboot, and then it dropped to 25%. Now I've discharged it completely, and when I plug it in again, it shows 0%. Can anyone help me figure out what's going on?

Try downloading this app called Battery Information View. It’s safe, I promise! It’ll give you insights about your battery's health and charging stats, which can help pinpoint the problem you’re experiencing.
Have you considered updating your BIOS? Sometimes an update can solve charging issues like this. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully!
Booting your laptop with a Linux distro could help you determine if it’s a software issue. If everything seems okay on hardware, it could just be a weird BIOS problem. Be careful, though; moving your laptop around while it's plugged in can damage the port. I've seen that happen before! If your laptop just stops charging, you might need to remove the battery, hold down the power button for a bit, and then reinsert the battery.
You might want to try changing your charger or adapter. Sometimes it's not about the laptop itself, but the charging equipment. Have you verified that your charger works fine by testing it with another device?

So, are you suggesting that the charger could be the problem, rather than the laptop itself? I did use the charger on my phone, and that worked okay.
