I accidentally formatted my digital camera's SD card and continued to use it, which I now realize was a big mistake. I've tried recovering my photos and videos, but so far, I've had no luck. I took the card to a tech shop, but they couldn't recover much either, and I managed to recover some files using a software called Disk Drill. Unfortunately, many of these files won't load properly, and I'm worried about losing precious memories. What are my options for recovering these files?

Continuing to use the SD card after formatting it makes it tough to recover everything because the new data can overwrite the old files. The bits you’ve recovered might be all that’s left of your original data. I suggest checking out specialized data recovery services; they might be able to help, but be aware it can get pricey. If you haven’t used the card too much since formatting, you might still have a chance!

How much could that cost? Just wondering what I might be getting into.
