Why Does My New PC Build Crash Only While Gaming?

I'm dealing with a really annoying issue on my new PC build where everything seems fine during benchmarks, but as soon as I dive into some gameplay, like with Escape from Tarkov or The Finals, it crashes within 5 to 10 minutes. Sometimes I get a blue screen of death (BSOD), and other times it just shuts down completely. Interestingly, the GPU isn't fully maxed out when this happens.

The Event Viewer has been lighting up with nvlddmkm Event ID 153, and I'm seeing entries related to Video3 and GPUID: 100.

For Tarkov, there have been logs about Unity serialization errors, and for The Finals, I'm encountering issues like DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED or DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG, along with a GPU crash during the ShadowDepthPass.

Here's what I've already tried:
- Completely removing and reinstalling NVIDIA drivers with DDU,
- Checking with two separate RTX 5070 GPUs,
- Using various DDR5-6000 RAM kits,
- Reinstalling games and clearing cache,
- Disabling HAGS and overlays.

My system specs include a Ryzen 9600X CPU, a Gigabyte RTX 5070 Gaming OC GPU, 32 GB of DDR5-6000 RAM on an ASUS B850 motherboard, and a Rosewill 750W PSU.

I'm really trying to figure out whether this is a power supply issue, a GPU hardware problem, or something related to PCIe or power delivery. If you've encountered the same nvlddmkm 153 or DXGI errors during gaming but not during benchmarks, any advice on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried clearing the CMOS? Sometimes a simple reset can work wonders. Just remove the motherboard battery for about a minute and pop it back in. That might help!

I did actually try clearing the CMOS first with the pins before removing the battery, but I guess it didn’t do the trick. I’ve been through quite the hassle trying to fix this!
