I'm contemplating whether to purchase an OLED monitor right now. With prices for SSDs, RAM, and GPUs rising, do you think we can expect monitor prices to go up or down soon? I recently finished a pretty expensive PC build, but I'm okay with waiting if prices are likely to drop in the near future.

Personally, I’m planning to hold off for another 1 to 3 years. Usually, monitor tech tends to get cheaper as time rolls on.
I think monitor prices aren’t going to rise much, and they might actually drop over time. Generally, display panel prices trend downward unless something major happens, like a factory issue or tariffs. Demand stays pretty steady, so there's likely nothing that’ll cause sudden spikes. Just look at TV prices over the years! I’d say if you can wait, it's probably wise to do so.
Prices for monitors usually trend downwards, so there’s really never a bad time to buy. I’d recommend waiting for a solid sale on a good monitor before making your move!
I'm on the lookout for a 27" 1440p OLED with an RGB sub-pixel layout. Haven’t seen the right one yet!
