How can I send multiple photos and videos through email?

I'm currently dealing with a mess at home due to a pipe bursting underneath the slab, which led to digging up the floors to fix the plumbing. A moving company I hired to pack and store my belongings ended up damaging a lot of my stuff. I recorded videos and took pictures of the damage, and the owner of the moving company asked me to send them via email. However, I'm struggling with Gmail because I can usually only attach 5 pictures per email, and I can only send very short videos. I have some videos that last 1 to 3 minutes, which are important for proving the damage. What's the best way for me to send all these files?

Using cloud storage sounds good! You could also consider sending a USB thumb drive if you're in a hurry, just send it via courier. But for digital sharing, stick with Dropbox or something similar.

Sending large files through email can be tricky since there are limits on attachment sizes. A good workaround is to use cloud storage services like Google Drive or Dropbox. You can upload all your videos and pictures there, create a folder, and then share a link to that folder in the email. This way, the recipient can access everything without any size restrictions.

Another way is to compress the videos if you can, so they fit the email limits. However, using a service like OneDrive or even iCloud if you’re on Apple devices can also work well. Just upload your files and send the links over email.

If you're using Google, uploading your media to Google Photos and creating a shared album is another great option. Just add the media to an album and share the link with the moving company owner. It’s simple and allows them to see all your images at once!

Definitely go the cloud route! Upload to Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar, then just email the link. This way, you won’t hit any file size limits and can send everything at once, which would be much easier.
