I'm transitioning from Windows to Linux Mint but still need to keep my Windows environment. I'm planning to dual boot Windows and Linux on a 1TB NVME drive, and I have a separate 1TB SSD that I want to use as a shared media and games volume. My goal is to set it up so that both operating systems can access the drive, with separate folders for Windows games, Linux games, and OBS recordings. I'm looking for guidance on how to make this happen. Any suggestions?

Yes, it's definitely possible! Just remember that Windows requires NTFS for partitions, which Linux can read. However, NTFS isn't the best for gaming with Linux due to speed issues and potential corruption. But for documents and media files, it's usually fine. If you need a guide on configuring this, just let me know!
Absolutely! ExFAT can be a good option to avoid some NTFS issues. Thanks for the input!
A simple way to do this is by installing Linux on your SSD. It reduces the hassle of managing partitions. Just ensure you correctly set up the partitions to share data between the two OS.

You could try using exFAT instead, which might work better for sharing files.
