Which silent captcha do you think is the best, and are there any common issues or pitfalls I should be aware of? Also, how do you confirm that it's functioning correctly? What do you mean by vague response codes? If you're using some wrapper packages, they typically provide a clear 'is success' definition. Otherwise, it’s best to check the documentation if you’re integrating it yourself.
If you want a smooth user experience without annoying pop-ups, go for reCAPTCHA v3. Just keep in mind that Google gets a lot of data from it, which raises privacy concerns. If you feel the response codes are ambiguous, maybe you’re misreading them. They are generally straightforward, so testing locally can really help clarify things.

I personally recommend using Cloudflare's Turnstile. It’s free for most features, and I’ve had a good experience with it on their enterprise version.
