Why Does My CachyOS Installation Hang at 15%?

I'm in the process of switching from Windows to CachyOS but keep getting stuck during the installation at 15%. I booted from a USB drive, and no matter the tweaks I try, it won't go past this point. I've read on their wiki that I should reboot after every failed attempt, which I've been doing. I first tried manual partitioning, then changed the filesystem to NTFS instead of Btrfs, and even erased the disk to start fresh, but nothing works. I've double-checked my UEFI settings, ensuring that CSM, Secure Boot, and Fast Boot are disabled. Has anyone encountered this issue or know a fix?

Have you tried disabling your LAN in the BIOS during the installation process? Sometimes that can help with network-related issues during setup.

This is a known problem. I suggest you keep rebooting as you’ve been doing, but also be patient with the progress bar—it might seem stuck, but it can take time. Are you connected through Ethernet or Wi-Fi? Mobile hotspots can cause issues sometimes. Also, what part of the installation fails? If it hangs while downloading packages, try to prioritize repos using Cachy Hello.

You might want to consider reimaging your boot USB. There could have been a problem with the ISO that's causing issues. Also, if you made the USB stick on a Windows machine, there can be compatibility problems. If possible, try to use a different computer to create your bootable USB.
