I'm having issues trying to reset my AirPods Pro 2 because they keep showing a message that says they're paired with someone else's Apple Account. Every time I try to delete them from that account, they remain linked and I still see the message when I connect them to a new device. Is there a way to reset them properly so I can give them away or sell them without this notification coming up?

Have you tried removing the AirPods from the Find My app on the original account? That's typically the first step to disassociate them from the previous owner.
