Hey everyone! I'm trying to figure out what upgrades I should make to my PC. I'm not an expert, so if you need more information about my specs, just let me know. I ran a check and here's what I found:

- **Processor**: Intel i7-4770K @ 3.50GHz (8 cores)
- **RAM**: 32 GB
- **Video Card**: Radeon RX 580 Series with 8 GB dedicated memory
- **Operating System**: Windows 10 (64-bit)
- **Wattage**: 550W

My budget is around $450, but I can save up a bit more if needed. Looking forward to your insights!

If you're near a Microcenter, check their bundle deals; they can offer solid savings on gear. If not, eBay is a decent option for used parts—old Intel CPUs from the 12th generation often have a good resale value. Focus on upgrading the CPU and motherboard first, and you can wait a bit longer on the GPU, as the RX 580 should still serve you well for now.

Thanks for the tips! I might take a look at refurbished parts since they're often cheaper.

Honestly, given how old your hardware is, you might need to consider building an entirely new PC. If your budget allows for it, upgrading to something like an RTX 2070 or RX 5700 would be a significant boost. You could also overclock your current CPU to squeeze out some more performance while you save for better parts.

You should definitely consider replacing your CPU and GPU since your current ones are pretty outdated. The i7-4770K is from 2013, and the RX 580 is nearing the end of its driver support. Ideally, you'd want a modern CPU and motherboard, plus new RAM, as prices can fluctuate a lot right now. For a budget-friendly build, look into an Intel i3-12100F or something similar—it offers a big performance boost for a reasonable price. Check out PCPartPicker for part lists and pricing!

That's a great suggestion! Also, don’t forget about getting decent RAM while you’re at it. DDR4 memory prices are a bit high now, but it’s an essential part of your upgrade.

Pro tip: Learn to use your shift key properly! Typing 'I' correctly shows more effort than just using lowercase all the time. Just a thought!
