I've been experiencing a frustrating issue where my computer completely slows down while I'm playing graphic-intensive games. It usually happens after about 10 to 50 minutes of gameplay, where my frame rates drop dramatically to around 5 fps. This performance hit also affects the whole system, and the problem continues even after I exit the game. The only fix seems to be restarting my computer. This has been a recurring issue for me, and I even have video evidence if that would help diagnose the problem.

Have you been keeping an eye on your temperatures while gaming? It could be thermal throttling causing your computer to slow down if it’s overheating.
It might also be worth checking if any background processes are kicking in while you play, which could be hogging your resources. Try to monitor your task manager during gameplay.
I forgot to mention that I'm using a gaming laptop, but I double-checked the temperatures, and they seem to be normal for a gaming machine.
