Hey everyone! We're looking to replace our Fortinet setup with equipment that is not under US jurisdiction. Has anyone had any experience with Stormshield products (the ones from France/Airbus)? I'm also open to suggestions for other brands that might be worth considering. Thanks in advance!

Mikrotik is a solid option to consider. However, keep in mind that while their routers are great, they may not match the security features you get with Fortinet. They're fantastic for routing but not really firewalls.
Check out Cato. They’re based in Israel but operate globally. Might be a good alternative for your needs!
I hadn't heard of them before, thanks for the tip!
I'm not sure you can dodge state influence entirely. There aren’t really any options outside of US manufacturers in the NGFW space that offer similar capabilities.
True, it seems most competitors just can’t keep up with the vulnerabilities that US OEMs struggle with.
Exactly! And it’s a bit absurd they're only looking for ‘routers.’

Good point. Mikrotik is awesome for routers, but if security is your priority, you might want to look elsewhere.
