I'm a beginner looking to set up a dual boot system on my main PC. I currently have Windows 11 installed and I'm considering installing a Linux distribution like Debian or Ubuntu alongside it. I have a 1TB SSD and I'm thinking about allocating around 250GB to Linux. I'm not a fan of using VMware because it doesn't feel like a real setup for me. What are your thoughts and experiences with dual booting in this scenario?

If you want to dual boot on a single SSD, you’ll need to shrink your Windows partition to make space for Linux.
