I'm new to Linux and trying to install Waydroid so I can use an app that's only available on mobile. I followed the instructions to install it via the command line, but it initially failed, and I'm not sure why. When I tried to copy and paste the commands, I managed to get the Waydroid icon, but it won't open. I'm looking for advice on how to diagnose what's going wrong and how to uninstall everything related to Waydroid if needed, to start fresh. Any help from Linux experts would be greatly appreciated!

Just a heads up, try to make your post titles more specific in the future. It helps us help you better if we know exactly what you're tackling right from the title!
What Linux distribution are you using? Sometimes the installation steps can vary based on that.
You might want to try typing `waydroid` directly in the terminal to check for any error messages. If that doesn’t work, you can right-click the icon and see what command is being executed.
I ran the command and got this:
[21:39:55] Starting waydroid session
[21:39:55] WAYLAND_DISPLAY is not set, defaulting to "wayland-0"
[21:39:55] Wayland socket 'run/user/1000/wayland-0' doesn't exist; are you running a Wayland compositor?
Any thoughts on how to fix that?

I'm using Zorin, by the way.
