Initially, the excitement was high, but we've been facing complaints from employees who say the tools are lacking features or not performing as expected. Many of them seem resistant to using these AI tools, expressing a desire for something that feels more like magic. My manager is struggling to convince everyone to adapt to these new methods, and I'm worried because if we don't achieve our goal of improving productivity, we might be in trouble. I'm feeling pretty down about it. Any advice or strategies to encourage acceptance of these AI tools?

Honestly, expecting to boost productivity by 10x feels unrealistic. What are your coworkers trying to be productive with? Productivity can be subjective, and not every tool fits every need. Maybe focus on what tasks the employees are doing and how AI can specifically help them with those rather than just pushing the "10x" narrative. That might make them more open to using the tools.
At my company, we adjusted our expectations. We aimed for a 1.5x increase instead of a wild 10x, which was more realistic and actually encouraged our team to embrace AI.
