Hey everyone! I recently bought a pair of AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation but ended up returning them. I experienced a frustrating issue where there was a noticeable static noise, especially in quiet environments, both when ANC was on and off. This made listening to music quite unpleasant. Now, I'm on the hunt for a different pair of Apple headphones that don't have these problems. I specifically use them with my iPad, so I'd love any recommendations you might have!

Have you checked what version of iOS you're on? Sometimes issues can depend on that or the app you're using. It does sound like a defect, so getting help from the Apple Store would be ideal if you can. Just a heads up, though—the Apple Stores aren't everywhere, especially in Ukraine.
It might just be that you got a faulty pair. I have the AirPods Pro 2, and I haven't experienced any static or noise cancellation issues with mine. Definitely worth considering a different pair if you're still interested in Apple!

Yeah, I was on iOS 26, but the problem was there even before that. I listen to the Path of Pain soundtrack from Hollow Knight using YouTube Music. I tried reaching out to a licensed store, but they didn't find anything wrong.
