I'm new to Linux and I've got The Sims 3 from EA, but I'm having trouble installing the EA app. I don't want to repurchase it on Steam. I'm currently using Linux Mint (22.3 Cinnamon). What are the best options for getting the game to work? Should I go with Wine or Lutris, or do you have other suggestions?

You might want to try using the Heroic Games Launcher. It allows you to install the EA launcher along with others like Epic and Ubisoft. You can find instructions on how to set it up on their GitHub page. It's pretty straightforward!

Thanks a lot! I didn't realize that Heroic Games Launcher could be found in the software manager, which made it super easy to install. Also, I found my Sims 3 saves in the Documents folder; they were located at /home/lucas/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/EA App/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Saves.
