How to Set Up a Dual Boot with Windows 11 and Linux?

I just switched from Windows 11 Pro to Windows 11 Home because my activation key expired. Now, I want to set up a dual boot system with both Windows 11 and Linux. As a beginner, I'm not really comfortable using the command line and I'm looking for a user-friendly Linux experience similar to Windows 11. Which version of Linux would be easiest for someone coming from Windows? Also, can anyone guide me on how to set up the dual boot? That annoying Windows watermark is really making me want to explore this option!

Linux Mint is a popular choice among beginners. It has a very user-friendly interface that feels like Windows, and it generally works well right out of the box. Another option is Zorin OS, which is also aimed at new users. It's designed to be visually similar to Windows, making the transition easier. However, I haven’t tried Zorin myself, but I’ve heard good things about it!

Zorin is awesome for newcomers! It has a clean UI that's similar to Windows and MacOS, making it easy to find everything you need. However, it's a bit heavier on animations, which could make it slightly less responsive than Mint for heavy tasks. But for non-tech folks, it's a great choice!
