I'm developing a web-based beauty application focused on nail booking. The primary functionality allows clients to schedule appointments with specialists at specific times. While I'm comfortable with backend development, frontend is not my strong suit, and I'm looking for guidance on selecting a JavaScript library for calendar functionality. The calendar needs to meet the following criteria: it must be mobile-friendly due to the high mobile traffic (91%), display bookings by day and week, have comprehensive documentation, be lightweight, ideally utilize native JavaScript, and offer customization options like clickable bookings for details and cancellation features. I've looked into TUI Calendar and CalendarJS, but I'm unsure of what to expect. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to check out FullCalendar. It fits well with all your needs and has strong documentation.
I totally relate to your situation! As a backend developer, I suggest going for something simple, maybe vanilla JavaScript or even Alpine.js. If you require more functionality, Vue.js could be a good choice, but React seems like overkill if you just need forms and basic interactivity.
Is your backend already set up? If it is, you can easily integrate it with a lightweight framework like Vue or Svelte. If not, you could consider a platform like Squarespace to streamline the process and avoid the hassle of coding everything from scratch.

The backend is built, so I’m leaning towards integrating with a framework. Thanks for the suggestion!
