I've been having a weird issue with my wired JBL Quantum 100 headphones while using Opera GX on my Nitro 5 laptop. Whenever I play a video in my browser, my headphones seem to broadcast the audio to anyone I'm on a call with, and they can hear it clearly. I thought it might be too loud or something picking up through the mic, but even when I mute the mic, it still picks up the video sound. I've tried adjusting all the sound settings in Windows and on Discord, but nothing seems to help unless I turn the video volume down to the point where I can barely hear it. Does anyone know what's going on or how to fix this?

Is this happening in any other apps besides Opera GX? I had something similar, but it was only with one specific app.
It was only in Opera GX for me, but fortunately, I found a solution. Disabling hardware acceleration in Opera fixed the problem!
It sounds like you might be dealing with a virtual mix audio device that’s incorrectly set up. Double-check the audio outputs both system-wide and for each app you're using, just to see if something’s misconfigured.
It could also be a hardware issue. If there's a problem with the grounding in your headset, it can act like an antenna and pick up sounds. If you can, try using another wired or wireless headset to see if the problem persists.
Have you tried disabling "Stereo Mix" in Windows? Sometimes that can cause issues like this where audio is shared inadvertently.
