I'm trying to set up SMTP authentication on my Xerox Versalink C415 for scanning purposes, and I'm looking for some guidance. I have an account with Microsoft 365, and I believe I have the correct SMTP settings. However, I've heard that a specific type of account may be required, especially if it's a high-volume email scenario. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Your printer actually supports Client Credential Flow, which is a better option than SMTP Relays. This method doesn't require the same infrastructure and will keep you ahead of the game since SMTP is being discontinued.
The easiest solution would be to use SMTP Relay since SMTP auth is being phased out and will be completely removed soon. You should consider this option for your printer setup.
Could you tell us what you've tried so far and where you're getting stuck? It would help if you presented what you’ve researched instead of asking for a step-by-step guide. Also, using clear language helps everyone understand better!
Make sure to check the official documentation to see if there's anything you've missed. Here's a link that might help: [Xerox Exchange Online Authentication](https://www.xerox.com/en-aw/office/insights/exchange-online-authentication). Client Credential Flow is recommended, and follow these instructions for the best results: [Xerox Support Instructions](https://www.support.xerox.com/en-us/content/172003)!
