I'm considering purchasing a preloaded super box because I'm tired of expensive streaming services. However, I'm concerned about potential security risks. Will buying a preloaded box put my Wi-Fi at risk or hack my network in any way? I don't have much technical knowledge, so any insights would be appreciated!

I set up my SuperBox on a separate guest Wi-Fi network by itself, so it only connects to the internet and nothing else. I also turn it off when I'm not using it, and I've never had any problems. Keeping it isolated really helps!
What do you mean by ‘hack my Wi-Fi?’ You’ll be connecting it to your network to use it. That said, any device can potentially be compromised, so always buy from trusted vendors and do your own testing.
No, a preloaded super box won't hack your Wi-Fi. Hacking doesn't really work the way it's portrayed in movies. If you connect it to your network, it's already part of it. The main thing to watch out for is malware, but that's pretty uncommon with these devices.
