Why can I run Windows but not Linux on my SSD?

I've been having a strange issue with my SSD. It runs Windows without any problems, but I'm unable to get Linux to install on it at all. I figured out that the SSD itself is the problem since it works perfectly with every version of Windows. I'm curious as to why this happens. Shouldn't Linux be more compatible with different hardware? Additionally, does anyone have any tests or methods I could use to confirm what the issue with the SSD might be?

Have you looked into whether this could be a TPM (Trusted Platform Module) issue? Sometimes BIOS settings can affect the installation of Linux, especially regarding security features.

You might want to check out some installation tips that could be helpful! It’s often recommended to connect via ethernet during install, and make sure to remove any boot media after installing.

It could be down to the file system that your drive is formatted with. If it's not compatible with Linux, that might be causing the installation issues.
